Retro
I know this is one of those, "everyone else found out about it yesterday but I'm just learning about it now" kind of things but.... have you ever tried launchcast on yahoo music?!?!? I just found out about it and I absolutely love it! Woot! I am so 1996!
Anyway, I've heard about it for years but I've never tried it. In case you haven't heard about it here's the gist: You pick artists you like, it plays songs by them and ones it guesses you might like as well as some random stuff and you rate each song as it plays. It gets smarter and smarter as it gets to know you. Brilliant!
Which brings me to my point. Once in a while you get a song played because it "is popular on lots of people's stations". Not pop either, real weird stuff. And here's the thing... it's always HORRIBLE!!! Does everyone else have crap taste in music but me? It can't just be my taste, because these songs aren't just bad. It's like someone reprogrammed launchcast to robotically fuck my ear.
I figure you don't have as good as an imagination as I do, so I drew you a picture in paint so you could see what that might look like:

LMAO... that is absolutely hilarious!!! I can relate tho - I gave up on Launchcast and found a streaming radio station that I love and that doesn't play ear-fucking music.
